What Do You Shoot With?

One of the first question people always ask me when they find out I’m a photographer is “What do you shoot with?”

I’m proud to say I shoot Canon.

What Do You Recommend?

Canon 5d MkII	Canon 24-70L f/2.8	Canon 50mm f/1.8
The Canon 5D MkII is an extremely versatile camera body that’s perfect for low light settings of clubs or daylight on the beach.  With an ISO ranging from 50 to 6400 this camera is a workhorse.	Canon 24-70mm f/2.8, a solid all around lens.  It’s range perfect for when you are looking for a closeup or pulling back to get a wider image of your subject, this lens is my go to lens every time.	Canon 50mm f/1.8, this lens is the best value for your money, not only does it perform well in low light situations (due to it’s low f-stop) but it also doubles as a great portrait lens giving a sharp focus to your subject while giving them amazing background bokeh

Accessories:

Microfiber Lens cloth – Perfect for cleaning off your lenses without scratching them.

Extra Batteries – In case you forgot to charge the one your using, it’s always good to have a spare (or two)

16gb SanDisk Memory Cards – Great brand, great product, perfect amount of storage.

USB Card Reader – The perfect accessory for transferring those images off your memory card. Recommend picking up a model that supports multiple memory card formats.

Western Digital 500GB Passport – Great for offloading all the RAW images you shot on to a small portable hard drive. It’s USB powered so just plug and play.

R-Strap Sport – Keep your camera secure and snug across your body. Keeps your camera tucked under your arm but ready to shoot at any time. I recommend the spot for the extra strap stability of get from having it snug on your shoulder.

Think Tank Urban Disguise 50 – Over time photographers build up decent lens collections. Thankfully you can place them all in your Think Tank bag. With it’s solid build, strong strap, expandable pockets for all your accessories, throw in the free memory card holder and you’ll see why this bag is where it’s at. Oh yeah, on top of all that you can throw a 15″ laptop in there without breaking a sweat.

Comfortable Pair of Shoes – You’ll be spending a lot of time standing around waiting for things to happen. May as well be comfortable while doing it.
