Treefort Music Festival – Boise, Id

It’s a long drive from Boise to Seattle, during this eight hour adventure one travels across three states, two mountain passes, and numerous fields filled with wheat. Boise itself is pretty unremarkable in itself but one weekend in March the entire downtown core transforms itself into one of the Northwests newest and best music festivals. This marks the second year of Boise’s Treefort Music Festival and I can tell you it’s only getting better with age. With a wide array of musical generes on display it’s become an exciting showcase from around the northwest. This year featured incredible performances by Built To Spill, Dan Deacon, El Ten Eleven, Japanter, Radiation City, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, SISU, Sssnake, The Thermals, YACHT, and Boise’s native son Youth Lagoon.

LMFAO at the Key Arena

The party rock band of Summer 2011 took to the road passing through Seattle. LMFAO brought the party to Seattle playing to a pumped up crowd at the Key Arena on June 2nd, 2012. Their high energy performance combined with blow up animals, copious amounts of confetti, and fantastic lighting made this shoot one of my favorites for the year.
